Saw Arbor Description

• Arbor Dimensions
The saw arbor on Compact edger is designed to fit saw blades with diameters up to 305mm. The bore diameter is set at 25.4mm.

• Swedish SKF & Japanese NSK
The saw arbor is mounted on 2 SKF bearings reference 7207 BEP & 1 NSK bearing reference 6206 VV, which are both known for their high quality and lifespan. (source: www.skf.com & www.nsk.com).

• Saw Assembly Elements
The saw blade is placed between one internal and one external washers before being tighten to the saw arbor with the tightening screw.

• Belt Drive Mechanism
The spindle motor is transmitting the torque to the saw arbor through a pair of pulleys connected by a flexible belt. This offers smooth runs with low noise, while providing shock absorption for moving parts like bearings.

• Instant Brake System
At the rear of the spindle motor, it is possible to add an instant brake system. As soon as the emergency stop button is actuated, it immediately stops the saw blade within 4 seconds (adjustable upon request).

• Manual Lubrication
It is recommended to grease the dovetail slides once every week. To complete this procedure, use the grease gun provided with the machine to the grease nipple location indicated in the user manual.
