Procedure for the Basic Settings on Edgers

1. Set the Thickness
According to the wooden material thickness, turn the handwheel A.

2. Release the Guiding Plate
Pull up the tightening handle B.

3. Set the Width
According to the wooden material width, turn the handwheel C to position the guiding fence as desired.

4. Lock the Guiding Plate
Pull down the tightening handle B and start your ripping work.

Basic Settings on Edgers

Note: The working thickness refers to the thickness indicator. It needs to be adjusted properly for good grip with the top pressure rollers. If it is set too high, it may loose the working piece and ripping may not go smoothly. On the other hand, if it is set too low, it may add too much pressure on the springs of pressure rollers and damage them.
