Description of Safety Devices

1. CE Guards
The machine comes with a full enclosure to protect users against the risk of projections.

2. Anti-kickback Fingers
With 3 layers of protection (top/top/bottom) at the infeed and 1 layer between each group of rollers, this equipment offers a complete shield against wood fragments and more importantly against unexpected kickback.

3. Feeding Protection
FasTrack series is capable to rip widths up to 600mm. When the workpiece exceeds the maximum width, it will trigger a limit switch placed on the left side of the machine infeed. This helps to avoid any possible damage to the machine.

4. Spindle Elevation Protection
At the rear of the machine, two limit switches ensure that users remain in the proper range of spindle motion (up/down), which is controlled by the motorized lift.

5. Locking System
An Omron guard lock safety door switch (reference D4NL) from Japan secures the full enclosure for accessing the saw blades. This prevents opening of the cover when the machine is processing or when it is powered off.

7. Power Lock
An ABB switch disconnector (reference OT80F3) from Sweden protects the access to the electrical cabinet. This prevents opening of the door when machine is powered on.

8. Emergency Stop Button
At the infeed and outfeed, two emergency stop buttons allow users to immediately and completely power down the machine in the event of an emergency.
