Saw Arbor Explained!

Saw Arbor Description

• Arbor Dimensions
The saw arbor design of FasTrack can fit saw blades with diameters up to 360mm and 70mm bore diameter. There are also 4x 10mm diameter holes to safely secure the flanges in position.

Saw Blade Scheme

• Saw Bench Design
The saw arbor is mounted on a ruggedly built saw bench. As a result, this facilitates the up and down motions of the saw blade. The addition of a motorized lift brings convenience to the user by controlling the spindle elevation directly from the front panel with push buttons.

Saw Bench Design

• Japanese Nachi
4 bearings reference 6012 & 6210 support the saw arbor. They are coming from Nachi in Japan, which is well known for manufacturing high quality bearings offering longer life, higher speed and performance (source: www.nachi-fujikoshi.co.jp).

Nachi Bearings

• Fixed Saw Flanges
The standard configuration includes a set of 3x flanges. With this feature, the operator can easily mount the saw blades. Then, to lock them in position, he would only have to fasten the two M8 x 16mm screws onto the arbor, without the use of traditional spacers.

• Saw Spindle Instant Brake
For additional safety, it is possible to add a pneumatic braking system to stop the rotation of the saw blade within seconds (Adjustable with timer).
